Next to an automatic uncapper, this is the easiest hand uncapper to use and maintain. It has an on/off switch and an adjustable 5 inch blade which will uncap a shallow frame in one stroke. This product can cut 1/16 deep up to an inch if you desire, and it is easier on you, as you pull the plane towards you, rather than the up and down stroke of a knife. The element is replaceable. This is a 120v model, but can be purchased with 240v for use overseas only.
