Slatted Rack

This product has beenm used for better overwintering and swarm control for over 100 years. Queens can lay to the bottom of the frames as the rack keeps your brood chamber warm in cold temperatures.  A Slatted Bottom Rack fits between the bottom hive body and the bottom board. It provides cluster space for bees when temperatures are higher and populations are greatest to reduce swarming.  Allows air circulation without allowing a direct draft on the brood, and helps prevent crowding near the hive entrance.
