Smoker Fuel - Cotton

We know beekeepers use a variety of materials in their smokers, but the four main ingredients are; that it starts easily and quickly, that it stays lit, that it burns cool and that it burns for a long time.  This fuel meets all four of the criteria. 

Compressed cotton fiber lights easily and stays lit.  In compressed form it provides a light cool smoke; fluffed up it will provide a heavier smoke.  Each plug burns about 3 hours and there are 2 plugs per package.  Break the plugs up for shorter periods of time in the bee yard.
